It’s amazing how many types of crime there are. And in order to commit most of them, people spend money. Even in little towns like Serendipity Springs. And that’s where the accounting comes in. You know the old saying, “Follow the Money?” That’s what accountants do. It’s how number crunchers solve mysteries. Accountants are amazing detectives.
Open any ledger and we’ll find a starting point. Sometimes the starting point is actually in the middle, but that doesn’t matter. The middle leads to one end or another, and that leads to a trail. We follow that trail – and there’s always a trail – and come up with answers. Or criminals.
Pick any kind of crime and there’s a starting point with money. Arson? There’s lots of money to follow there. What’s next?
